Lead Paint Inspection

Lead-based paint inspection and testing is commonly required as part of due diligence during multifamily real estate transactions, as well as prior to demolition or renovation of buildings.

Buildings constructed prior to 1978 are at risk of containing lead-based paint. It is critical to obtain an LBP inspection in your home when peeling or damaged paint is identified, or when you have children as they are the most sensitive to lead poisoning by ingestion.

Our inspector will do a visual inspection for lead paint in the home. If it is present we will conduct a test of the paint to determine if it is positive or not. If the results come back positive, you will need to contact a lead paint remediation company to rid your home of the lead paint.
